What is Xbox Commander?

Browse
Xbox Commander is an advanced but easy to use program to browse your Xbox or the computer's drives, wether these are floppy disk drives, hard disks, CD drives, DVD drives or network drives. The program makes use of the FTP server on the Xbox. This makes it possible to use other FTP servers, too.

Backup your software
The program makes it possible to create a backup from any directory on your hard disk drives in Xbox iso (xIso) format. These Xbox iso files can be either backed-up to a CD or DVD.

Upload or download your software

Any downloaded or created Xbox iso files can be uploaded to the Xbox without extracting them to disk. The newest version of the program, can upload or download files or directories from or to the server.

The program can make use of the "Boost Mode" of the Avalaunch dashboard. This makes it possible to upload the contents of the Xbox iso at speeds up to 11 MB per second.
